Performance Maker, Activist & PhotographerScroll Down
What a wonderful place to meet you; between pages, friends, words. I am feels tricky, but we’ll try and make the words count.
I am an earthly being and artist-activist, based between London, the East Midlands and West Scotland. My work moves through intersections of body, landscape and folklore, dancing with sensitivity, failure and joy. This way of saying it doesn’t really do it justice; all the words and commas and breaths position these things as islands, and we know it isn’t like that. Creativity is a massif, densely packed hills and valleys forever folding into one another.
I am interested in sharing, in collective imagining, in dancing barefoot in the wilderness. I make to emphasise an urgent need for more vulnerability and togetherness to tackle ecological collapse, to give space for realising our communal adaptive power. I make with ferocity, with love, and with my arms outstretched to you. Come with me?
Hail! for man is good
that walks the earth
and makes it weep
